Largest Canadian-Owned Audiovisual And Event Technology Company Welcomes Alissa Hurley (National Director, Client Solutions & Emergent Technology) And Wentworth Willock (National Director, Hotels & Venues)
FMAV, the largest Canadian-owned audiovisual and event technology company, has announced two new senior executive appointments. Taking up the newly created role of National Director, Client Solutions & Emergent Technology, Alissa Hurley and filling the role of National Director, Hotels & Venues, Wentworth Willock.

Alissa brings more than 20 years of experience specializing in digital marketing, event planning, online education, and project management. Holding progressively senior positions, Alissa joins us from Ottawa-based software firm, Kinaxis where she lead the company’s marketing events portfolio. Alissa’s past experience included senior management roles at Lenos Software and Maritz (Bond Brand Loyalty). A true digital ambassador, Alissa also teaches online through Mount Royal University’s Event Management program.
A tech-savvy, digital and event strategy dynamo, Alissa is recognized in the industry for developing innovative solutions for clients while maintaining a dedicated focus on achieving strategic business objectives. This union of brand strategy, emergent technology, and client program expertise makes Alissa a natural fit within the new FMAV. As National Director, Client Solutions & Emergent Technologies, Alissa’s mandate includes the development and advocacy of FMAV’s emergent technologies within the event planning community. An ambassador for the brand, Alissa will also support our content marketing strategy thanks to her deeply connected expertise and insights within the audiovisual and event planning industries.
As part of FMAV’s National Leadership Team, Alissa’s mandate includes marketing, MediaLab, and leading a team of solution specialists focused on developing next-generation event technology solutions.
Wentworth Willock (National Director, Hotels & Venues)
Wentworth brings 20 years of diverse experience and demonstrated leadership in the AV industry. Holding progressively senior positions, Wentworth joins us from Freeman Audiovisual Canada where he held the post of Regional Director of Hotels & Facilities (Southern Ontario). Prior to that, Wentworth held senior sports marketing and event management roles – including opening his own event planning company.
A connected, creative and customer-focused professional, Wentworth will bring a differentiated level of service to hotel and venue customers through a partnership approach anchored in event planning and hospitality business management sensibilities.
As part of the National Leadership Team, Wentworth will help provide vision and technical expertise to develop FMAV within the hotels, venues, and facilities segment. Based in Mississauga, Wentworth will lead the Hotels & Venues teams across the country.
