How the Building Accommodates New Technology

To maximize the utilization of the space, FMAV partnered with Brookstreet to install five 8,000 Lumen HD projectors and large format retractable projection screens in the Newbridge Ballroom. The projectors and screens can be controlled by using Crestron touchscreen panels in each section of the ballroom. The projectors and screens retract fully into the ceiling so as not to impact the décor of the room when the presentation technology is not in use. For event attendees, this new tech allows great sightlines of content on screens regardless of where you are seated in the room. The 8,000 lumen projectors are bright enough so that crisp sharp images can be viewed onscreen regardless of the light level in the room.

A Change in the Hotel Landscape

The world of event venues continues to evolve. In this new future, conference organizers, attendees and planners are going to expect more from the buildings and spaces in which they hold events. This creates a huge field of opportunity for venues to distinguish themselves. By expanding their capacity, installing technology, and improving logistical capabilities, Brookstreet Hotel is well positioned for the future.
